Good service

Very convenient location. The staff is friendly enough. I took a three month installment loan with GM. The interest rate is reasonable as well.

Hey, someone in your company named Ryan use your company name to something illegal. Took a 1,000 loan from him, so called test loan of 400 and clear 600. After clear 720 and still not clear. Give me all kind of excuses. Can someone please address please.

For the record, we do not have any staff by the name of Ryan and we suspect that this person is acting on behalf of an unlicensed moneylender. Where any unknown person(s) is acting under false pretenses by using our company's name or profile to solicit for loans, we urge you to make a police report immediately. Alternatively, we can arrange for our manager to meet with you at your convenience, for a joint report to be filled at a police station of your choice. Please contact us or come by to our office if you are willing to arrange this.

Additionally, we would like to advise you that taking loans over the phone through calls and sms by means of bank transfer to your account is strictly prohibited under the law. No licensed moneylender employs such a practice and those who do are unlicensed. You must always keep in mind that in order to apply for a loan from a licensed moneylender, you will need to visit the moneylender's office and apply in writing for the loan.

We thank you for informing us of this unpleasant incident and hope that we have addressed your concerns thoroughly regarding this matter.

Crap

It seem somebody is using your company name to do something illegal. Want to take a so called monthly loan of 2K, this so called Ryan said he from your company said I must clear this and that for so called processing test $280 into 3 weeks, payment of 400 not clear?

We would like to direct you to the Singapore Statutes Online website, chapter 188 where you will find the Singapore Moneylenders Act (31st March 2010). Under Part III: Regulation of business of moneylending, enforcement and proceedings, you will notice provision 17 (1) (Prohibition of Unsolicited Loans) which explicitly states the following:

No licensee shall:

(a) grant a loan to any person;
(b) grant approval to any person to obtain a loan from the licensee; or
(c) send or deliver, directly or indirectly, any article or document to any person on an undertaking by the licensee that such article or document, when used or produced in a specified manner, enables a loan to be obtained from the licensee; without the person having first applied to the licensee in writing for the loan.

In lay terms, no moneylender is allowed to call you and request that you apply for a loan without you first applying for the loan in writing. Hence, in order for you to apply for the loan in writing, you will have to first visit the moneylender's office in person to apply by filling up the loan application form.

Additionally, we would like to encourage you to educate your friends and family members, whom you know actively apply for loans with licensed moneylenders, about this regulation in particular. This is to ensure that they will not be conned into taking loans from unlicensed moneylenders.

Lastly, we thank you for informing us of this unpleasant incident and hope that we have addressed your concerns thoroughly regarding this matter.'
