The Registry of Moneylenders has released new list of Singapore licensed moneylenders as of October 1, 2015

On October 1, 2015, the Registry of Moneylenders released a new list of currently licensed moneylenders which includes 170 active licensees. This latest list also includes two suspended licenses:

  1. Lien Moneylenders (FKA: Moneymind Moneylenders) 213/2013 – Suspended indefinitely (update: now revoked).
  2. Shree Rai 83/2015 – Suspended until April 30, 2016.

Beware when borrowing from unlicensed moneylenders, moneylenders with suspended licenses or those that do not abide by the latest rules and regulations set forth by the Singapore government.

If you believe a moneylender is operating illegally you are encouraged to file a complaint.
